How to bring a USB hub from cig power

Oh that is cool. I'm guessing you meant that it brings extra USB sockets. The power is ok on the existing USB connections. I'm wondering if it really will work in the Tesla though. Wouldn't you need to have one of those connections going to one of the two outlets in the console and hoping the Tesla is smart enough to recognize it as a hub?

I've done something similar with my set up. Instead of routing additional usb ports from the 12v to the front, I routed a 12v splitter to the front so that I can have 12v access in the front compartment. That way I can use additional 12v accessories whether it's for more usb ports or for other future needs.

I'm using the splitter below from amazon that has 2x12v and 2 usb built in.

Is the cable long enough from this one? Did you route it the same way as the anker hub?

Cable is more than long enough. I routed it the same way as the anker hub from the first video. I think the cable for mine is a little thicker so you'll need to make larger holes to get the cable through.
