how to remove door arm bolsters

Im not even sure if that is the correct term, but would like to know if these are removeable. They appear to be two separate pieces as far as the door is concerned? Are there clips that snap into actual door? Can they be pulled off while door still attached to body, or do you have to take entire door panel off to get that part off. Im specifically referring to this piece.

Unless I am missing something, I dont see an exploded view of that arm bolster which isnt part of that door trim removal PDF. I know how to get the door panels off, but I want to just remove the inner arm bolster, NOT the entire door panel unless I have to.

It looks like it is one piece in the attachment to me. Once you get it off, you may be able to separate the pieces.

yeah, thats what I was thinking too, but was hoping I didnt have to take entire door panel off to get that piece off.....the clips are a real pain in the ass to stay tight, once you start removing them as I alraedy found out when I did the sound deadening project a few weeks back
