HW3 car bricked?

Has anyone got their car bricked or a call from Tesla saying their car could brick from the HW3 retrofit? They need my car back ASAP cause the computer needs to be re-associated with the clouds. Hmmmmm it’s been almost 2 months since the retrofit.

Isn’t that something they could do OTA? Why do they need to bench it for that? First I’ve heard of something like this.

Sounds like they need to update the Security Certificates that identifies your car to the Tesla servers.
