Recently got my MS professionally chrome deleted and tinted but I was up in the air about what to do with the wheels. I'm going to either powder coat or replace them (these wheels are a ton of unsprung weight) at some point but in the meantime I thought I'd see what the $150 removable DIY option looked like.
Could not find a single forum post or YouTube video showing what original 21" silver turbines looked like after being hyperdipped. So here's some pics for anyone who finds themselves wondering what I was wondering:
Wheel finish imperfections or any curb rash are definitely not covered well if you're looking at them up close, but from a distance theyre acceptable. All in all, I can't complain since it was only a $150 and took a few hours.
