Yep, apparently plastic aero covers over 19" allow wheels.

Seems they could be a nice combination of ride quality and efficiency. I'd have made these my winter setup and gotten 20s for summer.

We all know the car needs all the efficiency help it can get in colder temps.

Need to know what they look like sans covers.

I already converted my stock 18" aero set into winter wheels, this might be a good choice if they look sharp without the aero covers. I could then slap the aero covers back on for road trip use to get maximum range.

These only being available in the Chinese market means they are probably being produced there and it would be cost prohibitive, or maybe supply constrained, for why Tesla isn't selling them to US customers.
