Importing Canadian S70D into the US

I’ve read different answers and have been told different things by importers. I’m trying to find out if it is possible to import a Canadian S70 into the United States. If you have successfully done this, what importer did you use?

I imported my own S85 into the States when I moved from Canada, so it can be done. I just needed the letter from Tesla stating the vehicle met Canadian and American safety standards. No importer used.

Where did you get the letter and how long did that take to get? I can't seem to reach an actual human at Tesla.

@inrow1 - Just curious to know why you're interested in importing a Canadian registered Tesla to the US?

1. There's so much more inventory in the US compared to Canada.

2. Tesla's and any other car are cheaper in the US compared to Canada.

3. If the car is still under warranty, claims won't be honored in the US.

It's a 2015 and out of warranty now. US Tesla's are not necessarily cheaper if you know how to negotiate.
