Importing from Canada to US ??

I am moving for job to US. Is it possible for me to move my M3 to US?

If yes then what is the process and steps? Has anyone done it before ?

I checked on CBP and it says that I need compliance letter from company to move car. But Tesla seems to be unaware ( I called local )

I've done it with a Model S. I emailed Tesla and they sent a PDF of the compliance letter.

When moved in May 2019 there was still an online form in the myTesla area of the website where you could contact support. I used that and they got back to me. I don't think that option exists anymore. I'll see what I can dig up.

They forwarded me a document that had been prepared by the Director of vehicle homologation.

How did things work out for you? I’m currently going through this, however the Tesla customer support email no longer exists and the chat service didn’t know what I was talking about.
