How do you check your speed limit or navigation?

I suspect speed limits and navigation are irrelevant when descending a mountain pass - the corners set a natural speed limit and the Europeans aren’t obsessive about speed limits for the straight bits in between

I also suspect cruise control won’t be useful at managing the descent, as it won’t know about upcoming corners; Autosteer probably gives up, too. Those switchbacks are really sharp...
