An interesting side effect of the V9 maps being the main focus of the UI is that the yellow band around the outside edge of my display is no longer very evident. It appears as if they also made the music and other white display boxes stop short of the edges of the display, which make is virtually impossible to see the yellow banding. I have had one screen replaced and was getting ready to call as the problem re-occurred within a couple of months of replacement. Now, I barely notice it. If it doesn't get worse, I will probably just continue with the display that I have.
