Iphone charge port case question...

Got my Model 3 on Friday. Love the car. One small issue I'm having is that the Iphone charger is a little too tight for my Iphone with it's case (Tough Armor case). Does anyone have a work around or recommended cases?

I'm the primary driver and my tech21 case (minimal coverage with shock protection) allows my iPhoneX to fit in the holder as designed. Husband has an Otterbox on his Samsung, won't fit. You can either pull the microUSB cable out of the tray with enough slack to plug it in, or do what I am considering - install a USB hub to plug in a drive to record from the dash cam and use one of the spare hubs to charge the Android phone on a spare cable.

Not a perfect solution, but it leaves the charging tray in the console intact and will have enough cable to spare to put his phone on the tray while charging.
