iPhone widget time shows the last time car was awake?

Quick question.

The timer on the iPhone widget shows the last time car was awake?
For example if it says 20 minutes ago, it means that car was awake 20 minutes ago?
Is this a method to tell if the car is sleeping correct or is waking up all the time?

I believe it shows the last time widget/app connected with the car.

It shows the last time the car connected to the mothership. It’ll do this periodically for various reasons, including charging the 12 volt battery.
