Is “Expected Delivery Date” in Manage Order page Accurate?

Ordered a MY on 12/23 with an expected delivery of 1-12 weeks. My SC tried to get me to take an inventory model not to my specs the last few days of the year but I balked for several reasons. On 1/1/21, my Tesla accounts order manage page changed from expected delivery in 1-12 weeks to January 9-29. Still have no VIN. I’m curious if anyone else noticed this change in their delivery estimate before getting their VIN. Did it end up being accurate?
Just over here refreshing my page a few times a day waiting for the VIN to pop up! Haha.

It’s normal for the delivery date to change with no VIN. As the date gets closer the window will narrow.
