Is new M3 LR AWD HW4?

My new M3 LR AWD has been scheduled for delivery on 6/12. Anyone know if they will be shipping with HW4?

Was hoping for project highland since it’s using a new type of battery.. but do you think it’s too soon?

I’d also like to know this. The on-line chat couldn’t answer battery questions on new 2023. I thought that odd, but perhaps it varies?!

I dont think anyone actually knows. Lol. I havent seen a single person post they received a M3LR with an LFP. Hopefully the OP can update us after they take delivery. I'm also currently trying to figure out if the M3LR comes with Matrix headlights.

Newbie question:
How can I know what battery type a car has? I thought that the info screen is only showing power consumption, calculated range and stuff, but no hardware info?
I just ordered, so don't have anything to play around with yet.

Picked up Monday. HW3 not LFP battery. It’s the Chinese equivalent of the Panasonic one thus slightly less range. Flawless finish and cameras are working great. Also vision distance so far is accurate and is 360 on the measurements. Don’t think I would gain anything from HW4 for a year so very happy!
