Which to buy: New 2023 Model 3 LR or 2022 M3 LR with 18k miles

I'm trying to determine which is the better buy at the moment. A new model 3 LR vs a used 2022 LR - I think ultimately the price will end up to be similar

The used is 41,400k with a 1k destination, has the 358 mile range and 3.7 0-60 acceleration boost and full self driving, 17.8k mileage.

The new is 44,150k has the 333 mile range will get more tax relief, seems to have better cameras and processor, but I'm not sure?

Do these have the same features? USBC, charging pads, interior design? Which has a better battery pack? Is there anyway I can tell the battery health of the used car?

Here is the used:

Here is the new:

New for sure! Brand new car and you get the $7,500 tax credit. I wouldn't worry about the difference in range - they're really not real word numbers and you'll end up changing it way before you realize the maximum range anyway. Or do what I did, and spent the extra $4-5K and get the performance model with 315 mile range and 0-60 3.1sec. Best decision I made..

the ABoost and FSD options are worth 14k so if they mean something to you alongside parking sensors, then 22’ it is. I have a 22’ boost myself with USS and love iit.

Other than that, new is usually your better option. New warranty and there are always incremental production efficiencies or changes we do not see. You can always buy ABoost or subscribe to FSD.

Suggestion for Perf is fantastic if you can pony up the extra!
