Is the Model 3 Smartphone "Cradle" legal in BC?

BC law allows you to have your smart phone as long as it is 'securely fixed to the car'. Up until now I have used a magnet mount in my car and this is legal. Does anyone know if the Model 3 charge cradle meets the definition of being securely fixed to the car?

If it does not on it's own I am tempted to slide a rare earth magnet behind the rubber mat incase I get pulled over.
