Is there a Setting for controlling song Restart after power off?

We have two Teslas, a 2020 M3LR & a 2023 MYLR. Both have the same audio settings to the best of my knowledge. However when I exit the M3 with the audio system on a song will pause & then resume when I re-enter the vehicle. In the MY a song will start over when I return to the car. Any suggestions about where a setting might be to change one of the cars?

I don't believe that there is one. Are the two cars on the same software release?

Yes. I set the software updates to ”advanced”. I forgot to mention that this only occurs when we use streaming music.

On my 2023 M3SR upon car restart, the song restarts.
It used to pick up where it left off, but as of a few updates ago, this was lost as well as the ability to "scrub".
I am on 26.8

scrubbing / pausing a streaming song is more complicated then just starting over. makes sense why they did it.

Just updated the software in our MYLR. No change. Software version: 2023.26.9

I’ve noticed the same change where the song starts from the beginning when I get back in the car

More frustrating is that when I put a thumbs down for a particular song, it keeps playing that song the next day

It also seems to play three songs in a row after the thumbs down that are always the same three songs

I also don’t like the inability to skip a song by pushing a button on the steering wheel like my previous Tesla; this one is stalkless (MS).

What puzzles me is that this doesn’t happen in our M3LR. Same software in both.
