How are you seeing this disconnect?

The usb music stops and the dashcam icon disappears. It’s only for a few seconds. I can get the drive to disconnect by moving the plug from side to side. It might be a bad solder joint or dirty connector. It was working fine up until recently.

Buy the original not the cheaper lower quality knock off True though....

I started getting this disconnect about 2 weeks ago. (To be honest, it probably was there from when I installed the hub, but I didn't listen to USB music and therefor didn't notice it. Your comment made me start listening to music off the USB.)

Over the last couple weeks through trial and error, I swapped the USB's hard disk cable back to the one supplied with the hard disk, rather then the one supplied with the hub. It has worked without issue since I did that. Fingers crossed I haven't jinxed myself now.
