I haven’t taken it out for a drive, we have a family event tonight and will drive it tomorrow.

Drove it today and made numerous adjustments. Finally got it dialed in and I am happy with it. The car has no dive effect on braking and no squatting effect on full acceleration. It feels planted and absorbs bumps smoothly. I plan on doing canyon runs and will update with those results in the future.

This MY21 Model Y Performance has been running the Ohlins DFV kit for about 2500mi and wanted to give the new KWs a try, as he likes to try different setups. Just like the Ohlins kits, the KW V3 kit includes everything needed for easy installation.

Road test felt good on the new KW setup, running about midrange on compression/dampening to get a feel for the kit since this is the first one we've installed on this platform. Car felt nice and planted with no regrets from switching. We'll post some opinions as more miles are racked up, but KW seems to have knocked it out of the park with this one.

Important to note: Last two pictures show the MYP at about the same ride height, with the KW kit giving slightly more adjustment range for lowering.

He had existing Rear camber arms from the Ohlins Coilovers, Either the Redwood or MPP is recommended if wanting to go low, I carry both in stock.

The height with the KW is what I’d be looking for. Just trying to see what additional parts I’d need. If rear camber arms are enough that’d great.

That's the bare minimum. Everything else is just added bonus after that.

Yes Quick jack with extensions to fit the model Y.

We just finished, it was a fun project.

KW coilovers were a perfect fit.

MPP Front UCA’s and RCA’s were a perfect fit.

We lowered it to the max in the front and its too low, going back up a bit.View attachment 768299

What increments can you adjust the KWs? I've read where some drop it an inch. Looking for a little less than inch drop to still clear curb stops and my driveway incline.

KW claims 1.0"-2.0", but we're seeing more like 1.5" max. You have plenty of range on a MY before you start to have clearance issues.
