Lease Transfer - 2017 Model X 100D 7 Seater $918.16 + Tax

We just ordered a new P100D X and looking to lease transfer our current 100D Model X

Factory Sticker was $118250.00. Vehicle has the old MonoPost seat configuration, so they're motorized but do not fold flat like the new 7 seaters.

Lease has 34 months left at $918.16 a month plus your sales tax rate (in LA,CA, my lease is 1005.39 total), 10k miles a year on the lease with 1700 of the 30k miles consumed thus far.

Looking to get $5k down and take over the lease.

What all is involved with transferring a lease? I'd assume there has to be some type of credit check with the new lessee. What type of fees, etc are part of it? Basically, I'm understanding correctly, I give you 5k, and you give me a $918 payment for 34 months plus a car. Am I getting that right?

Its basically the same process as buying a new one from Tesla. You'd submit a credit app, they approve, send us both forms to sign and then the car is all yours.

And yes, the $5k comes to me to offset my downpayment for when I purchased the car and had to put a deposit down.

Is the vehicle locked into 10,000 miles per year (30,000 miles total) or is it possible for Tesla to increase the mileage limit? Not being very familiar with lease swapping, I figured I'd ask.

Existing contract remains intact, so you can not change the mileage.

just out of curiosity how much did you put down on this? that montly seems awfully low for a Model X lease with those specs.
