Load not pulling from battery

Hello,
Did a search but didn't find an answer.
Just installed T solar. My battery is at 100% (configured 80/20). My house is pulling 5.3kW, solar is providing 3.5kW. I expected the residual 1.8kW to be pulled from the battery, but it's pulling from the grid.
Is this expected behavior?

That depends on if you are in self powered mode or setup time based controls, and configured your utility.
