Hey - I actually just went through this with my 2018 US model 3 that I bought with me to Europe. In my case I needed to update the charge port ECU to v4 to get ccs adapter support enabled.
After doing that, I bought a CCS2 to US TPC/NACS (Tesla proprietary connector) from evseadapters.com. Unfortunately, the adapter won’t work out of the box unless you have a EU charge port ECU so I had to modify the adapter to add a 160 ohm resistor between the PE and PE contacts.
After doing this, my car can charge at all CCS2 charging stations but not at V3 superchargers.
