Loud humming sound when charging

sometimes I hear a loud humming sound when I charging my 2015 Model S. Is was so loud the last t8me, I decided to exit the vehicle. Has anyone else experience this?

Sometimes it can be so loud and I would think that it's about to explode!

Quiet to drive and loud to charge

This morning my wife was very alarmed and said our two Model 3's (both in a detatched carport) were making loud noises like a jet engine. I could hear it coming through the walls of the house loud and clear. I said "That noise is coming from our cars?" and she yelled back "Yes, get your butt out here". I ran out there thinking I would arrive just in time to see them self-destruct, when I arrived the noise was so loud I had to shout over it. I yelled at my wife, "That's not our cars, that's the garbage truck picking up our garbage!".
