Woo, everything moved so quickly. I had my source code VIN yesterday and now my delivery date is 2/24. About time! (12/24 order date, Seattle, LR AWD Grey)

Just joined the board here. So ordered in CO 2/15/2020 m3 LR Awd FSD color grey.
so far no vin no email or text from anyone. So just siting around looking at youtube about the car

SO, received a call this afternoon that my LR AWD has arrived at the Montreal Service Centre.
I receive the VIN couple minutes later, and the delivery is monday morning.
Barely had time to call my insurance company to finalize the paperwork.
Very Happy,
Ordered jan 22, vin feb 21, delivery feb 24.
Long Range, AWD, White ext, black int, aero.

Oh, Ordered 1/20, LR, Black, White interior. Thursday update phone call said no VIN yet but "very soon." Woke up Friday morning to find VIN in source; nothing on tesla.com and no further contact from Tesla yet. Hopefully I'll hear something in the next few days

Nope, no text this week. And of course it had to be the week after I made modifications to my order and now I'm thinking everything is messed up

Well they made it to TX in time to keep, my pickup time. Picked it up this morning. Ordered 1/10 picked up 2/22

only thing is a small slight chip in window driver side. Everything else is good

Called and talked to a SA at my delivery center this afternoon.. She said I should be getting a VIN within the next week or so.

Here’s to hoping she somehow knows...

The more VINs I see pop up for other folks, the more often I check the site... I'm only 3 weeks in and I don't know how some of you guys have stayed sane since late 2019 waiting. My condolences x.x

Yea, i am not sure exactly how it happened. I looked forever and finally scheduled a test drive. That evening I pulled the trigger.

After rwading some posts abouts about making sure to fill everything out, i did just that. I had a few questions so I emailed my SA that took me on the drive. He got backnto me within a few hours and I only needed my insurance uploaded.

I did not have a VIN in my source but about an hour after uploading my insurance it was there. I contacted my SA again and he laughed congratualting me. Told me the VIN was listed as being at the factory. Got the text today its enroute.

Now my scramble to schedule my wrap, tint, ceramic and order some fun things. It never ends.

Thought you need the VIN to get the insurance, Tesla site says in TX your insurance needs to be on the Tesla not your current car. My status is waiting on me to upload my insurance.

I ordered my long range dual mode on Feb 8th from the Lawrence Township Tesla, aka Princeton, NJ, got a call today for a delivery date on March 7th, fingers crossed.

Easiest way is to go to the "Manage My Tesla" page on a desktop browser and (depending on your browser, OS, etc., this may vary), right click on an empty part of the page and choose "View Source." In the tab that pops up, hit Ctrl-F (Windows/Linux) or Cmd-F (Mac) and search for "5YJ". Those will be the first 3 characters of your VIN.
