I get why folks don't want to pay in advance for something that they can't inspect/see/touch.
But what are the downsides here? How many folks have refused delivery because of paint defects, etc. Ask yourselves, what would it take for -me- to refuse delivery, especially since doing so might result in a few months delay and losing the tax credit?
By all means, do a thorough inspection and make a list. I've yet to read a post for someone who took delivery after specifying the defects and found out later Tesla refused to make good on them.
