the tesla ios "widget" thing will show when the car is asleep. locked the car, sleeps within 20 minutes

I deleted my teslafi token and it still didnt sleep last night.

nothing has changed..I have been using teslafi for months and the car sleeps as it should. with the new software and leaving the door unlocked at home in my garage, it now does not sleep. nothing else has changed. ..long ago I dealt with the car unable to sleep when being polled by 2 apps...

interesting..I foudn that when I ran stats app in conjunction with teslafi, it would never allow the car to sleep either (this was a long time ago, I stopped using stats shortly after getting the car)

ok, I deleted my token and added a new one...will report back to see if that has changed anything. the car is charging for a few hours so I wont be able to test it right away. (I noticed in your comment that you mentioned your model Y had this problem on 2020.20.12 but the "exclude home"...

yes, teslafi is still doing sleep attempts. (red highlighted sleep attempt notification was on several times when I checked the app)

its been 13 hours.. ive tried this for several days now. teslafi shows me when my car sleeps or is awake....it doesnt sleep at all with this setting on. as soon as I lock the car with the app it goes to sleep shortly after

sentry mode is not on.. as soon as I lock the car with the app..it falls asleep without 20 or so minutes.

anyone else having this problem? Ever since the new firmware update which allows you to "exclude home" when using the walk-away lock feature. Now my car doesnt fall asleep at all. I also got the 2020.24.6.4 update yesterday hoping this would be fixed, its not . Anyone else experiencing this?

I already have my car..I got it in december but im back in here because there isnt a waiting room for track mode v2...and its all ive been able to think about since the first person got 2020.8.1 in their performance. I am dying here unable to do skids and all my friends are melting tires :(

lol...looks like someone just got downgraded from 2020.8.1 to 2020.4.1 wonder if they are one of the bricked cars that was taken in and put back on old firmware? probably not but possibly..idk

its a pretty large sample size so id guess its somewhat accurate

yep.. they sent it to like 1/3 of the performance cars..now it seems like its been halted, barely any new installs today ..im really hoping we get track mode v2 very soon, ..im slightly concerned they are going to change or remove it (probably an irrational fear)

no..he is just saying the torque split setting isnt active when the steering wheel is straight. Meaning if you turn the wheel slightly you would then be in full rwd mode.. which is why I asked what I did in a post near the top of this page about drifting. im sure we wont get any real answers...

please try to do a burnout with the wheel turned slightly please post a video of it

they said that when the wheel isnt turned, it doesnt use the torque split.. so im wondering when in drift, during a transition is the car smart enough to know im drifting and not kick in the front motor during the split second the wheel is straight? I am excited to try track mode v2..I recently...

will it do a standing burnout if you slightly turn the wheel and floor it (in full rwd mode with stab control off and no regen)

in a straight line, the torque split is not active..only when turning. So rwd should feel just as fast in a launch this is according to tesla engineers in one of the youtube videos. still waiting for my damn update

..it really doesnt actually lose anything from 0-60 till you're under like 40%soc heres a 3.09s 0-60 (1ft) I recorded recently in a 2020 p3d+ completely stock..at 74% soc

I think its more of a representation of tire slip/spin its too instant of a change for actual temp measurement (even using tpms) just a graphical display of which tires are slipping and likely getting warm

I dont think thats the case.. even in the videos they were testing v2 on cars without the track pack.. and in the details of the track pack there is no mention of track mode v2

Tesla just updated the wh/mi rating for the 2020 performance with performance upgrade package..its now rated at 260wh/mi on 2020.4.1 was rated at 264wh/mi on 2019.40.50.7 using teslamate to log my data and it had previously derived the value of 264wh/mi..but since the update it has been...
