Maryland 495 Drivers with 21" wheels

Hope I can post a specific thread. I think I want to order the 21" rims... but On 495 in MD/Va most Bridges have pot holes around here unless you know which Lane and what time to shift to...
Any feedback to flat tires with 21's for those who travel around here?

You will get a lot of bent rims in this area with the 21". Have a small reserve for the $100-150 repairs and a spare rim / tire for inconvenience. Probably about 1 incident per year I would guess.

I bought my 2013 P85 car with 21 inch tires. Replaced them less than a year latter after having to replace 4 tires due to bubbles developing in the sidewalks from pothole impacts. At the time, Tesla was charging $750 for each PS2 tire that had to be replaced. The low profile tires are not a good match to the D.C. area roads. My advice is not to get the 21 inch wheels and tires, you will regret it.
