Matte black frames around the touchscreen and windows?

Just placed an order for a new Ludicrous Performance Model S (P100D) with the white/black interior and carbon fiber decor. I'm really hoping that I will get the matte black rim around the main display (seen in Bjørn Nyland's recent video) and air vents without the chrome look. The inside of Bjørn's car also has nice looking matte rather than shiny chrome frames around the windows.

Is this matte look a very recent thing or specifically part of the premium interior tied to the ludicrous/performance upgrade? I tried to find some other recent Model S videos on Youtube but they all showed the chrome rim around the main display which I dislike. Tesla's configurator shows the first row only from the side which doesn't allow for the visualization of the main screen.

It feels ridiculous to obsess over a small thing like this on a >100k car...but I can't help it

It's ok to obsess. I debadged the interior door sill logos.

You'll get all carbon. Or rather mostly carbon, since there are a few chrome accents remaining.

its in all the new cars but what i found a bit annoying was that they left some silver here and there which didnt make a lot of sense to me. either change it all or dont change it at all lol

Thanks for sharing the video. It confirmed the same gap between dashboard and carbon fiber panel near glove box switch that I have. Thought it was something specific to my car.
