Matte Black Tesla Gen 2 Wall Connectors

In the past I didn't pay much attention to them, but I now find myself curious about (North American) Tesla Gen 2 80-amp Wall Connector colors. I already know that:

• Some were silver.
• Some (fewer?) were gloss black.
• And a smaller number, I guess, were matte black (and came from the Referral Program, I read).
  
  So my questions are:
  
  
• Are all the matte black versions “signed” (with the Musk signature graphic)?
• Can you tell if they are "signed" without opening up a factory-sealed box and looking? (Is there some indication on the box?)
  
• Conversely, are all the signed versions matte black in color?

Do we know of any unsigned matte black WCs that were issued by the factory? (Could unsigned matte black WCs be purchased from Tesla?) (Or any signed silver or signed gloss black WCs?)
