Messages on mobile Tesla App

I am a novice with my Tesla 3 !
The red Tesla icon on my mobile has numbers in the top right hand corner. I assume this refers to the number of messages or alerts from Tesla? However i) I cannot find them and ii) If I do (e.g there are 3 in my Inbox ) I cannot delete them after I have read them!!
Please simplify.

I think you may find those either in your account tab or service. Just hunt and peck around and you will find them for sure

I do not see a way to delete Tesla emails either but the red numbers should go away after reading. If you still have red numbers, the text messages are used in the Service app and usually during a Request Service to communicate with Service Advisors.

Don't know what the notifications are don't see how to read them or clear the messages from the inbox. Anybody know how? most of the messages where about renewing the premium service.
