Missing Front License Plate Bracket

I noticed that I didn't receive a front license plate bracket. I thought it would be in the hidden trunk compartment, but no dice. I also didn't receive a rear license plate frame/bracket that others have received. No mounting screws either.

Is this a normal delivery situation? I didn't have a vehicle to trade in, so there were no plates to transfer. I live in a state (WI) that enforces the front plate law, and will give you a ticket if you don't have a front plate.

I live almost 3 hours from Highland Park, so I'm wondering if they will send me the brackets and screws. Has anyone else been in this situation?

My front and rear license plate frames and screws were in the lower compartment of the rear trunk when I took delivery

I would also check the frunk to see if it is there.

If not I would call your delivery specialist and see if they can send you the frames. Another possibility is to call the Tesla Ranger and have them delivery the frame

I got the plates but didn’t get the zero emissions paper that so many new M3s have. Makes me feel this is something done by the interns as the car is being put onto transport after final inspection...

That said a LOT of people replace that front plate with an after market solution as the one Tesla gives us is literally a sticker...

But you are going to want the rear plate.

Fir the front, look for something like “The Bandit” (look for that on YouTube) or one of it’s competitors. The YouTube videos will show why you want a different front than Tesla’s... but also why you want to pay attention to getting one that doesn’t block the grill.

I was thinking about getting that Bandit holder, but not sure what advantage / disadvantage it is to the stick on plate holder. (Can't find pictures of the stick on holder).

Seems like if someone was to back / tap into the front of the car the bolt one will will snap or damage the grill while the adhesive one would just fall off, or maybe it would just protect the front bumper?

Maybe a piece of PPF behind the plate for easier future removal?
