Mobile Access Disabled until car wakes up

Has anyone sent a bug report or a service appointment? I mean they can't force us to update to a certain version and the App was advertised when the car was bought. So they have no legal way of doing that. Not that that has stopped Tesla from doing things in the past, but still...
Also the issue is definetely server side and has nothing to do with App version as I use the same old App version as before - they are basically forcing people to update this way.

The warranty terms allows them to require a software update as part of a fix.
"You may void this New Vehicle Limited Warranty if you do not follow the specific instructions and recommendations regarding the use and operation of the vehicle provided in your owner documentation, including, but not limited to:
• Installing the vehicle's software updates after notification that there is an update available;"

So while they can't force you to install an update, they are allowed to say you must update to fix this bug.
