I've always had range anxiety with my Model 3, but after a few trips from LA to SF and LA to Vegas, I'm starting to get more comfortable with the car and range estimates. This weekend was perfect for a long drive with the kids becauce it was a 3 day weekend so decided to push the car a little further outside my comfort zone. I know many trips across the US have been done in a Model 3 so it wasn't an issue, but I was still worried so signed up for AAA before the trip.
My concerns were dead battery, flat tires, and busy Superchargers. However, none of those things happened, and the car was fantastic throughout the whole trip.
Superchargers were fine, no lines at all, but i see some weak spots during big holiday travels. There needs to be a V3 Supercharger near Kingman and Needle superchargers because 4 to 6 spots nearby won't be enough for Phoenix drivers going to Vegas and LA drivers going to the Grand Canyon.
Here are some pictures of the Supercharger.
