Model 3 AWD vs RWD audio quality

Bought a Model 3 Long Range RWD in July 2018.
Bought a Model 3 Long Range Dual Motor AWD in November 2018.
Both have premium interior. The July RWD audio sounds noticeably better than the November AWD, with the same settings and same inputs and music. I don't know to describe the difference - the RWD sounds very full, crips and impressive at 50% volume. I have to up the AWD volume to 80% and still doesn't have the oomph. I'm not sure if it's just the subwoofer. I assume the hardware is identical..
Any ideas / observations?

Are you sure all the speakers are working? There's some folks that have noted that sometimes the rear speakers and subs go out until the car is rebooted. Might be worthwhile to check all the speakers are getting output.
