Model 3 rear-ended in half moon bay in the bay area

July 15 2023 around 8:30pm, my dashcam recorded the whole accident. The car being rear-ended was a red Model 3. If you are the owner and need the video please contact me.

If the license plate(s) is(are) visible, you may want to contact the CHP and see if they have any record of the incident: 800-TELL-CHP (800-835-5247). This assumes the accident was in their jurisdiction. If not, then maybe HMB police department or San Mateo Sheriff.

Oh wow, what are the chances! Surreal to come across this. Yes that was our red Eleanor that got rear ended. While I do have the video from the bumper, I wouldn’t mind seeing it from your side! Luckily, so far the other owner admitted fault and was a nice guy. He’d just got his ‘89 bmw back from the shop, too. Thank you for reaching out!
