Anyone know what the holes are in the rear passenger lights in the roof are there for?
Thought they might be alarm sensors but apparently there aren't any in the model 3 so maybe microphone for the Bluetooth or something?

Yes, was wondering about them yesterday, but don’t know what they are.

Wild guess; microphones
2 of them to provide diversity coverage and noise cancellation.

Maybe one day a ota software upgrade will let back seat passengers make phone calls. They could already be providing cabin background sound to cancel with whatever mike picks up the front seat sounds.

Or maybe they are just the only microphones for the cabin. It not a crazy place for them.

I guess covering them up while making a phone call would give a clue.
