Preference. The OG one looks more modern to me while the new one is more generic.

Plus the OG one is more functional and customizable...you can leave doors open or close them to hide things like your phone, buy tray inserts and add wraps or covers to change the appearance.

I'm hoping for the new center console soon. I think it looks more high end. I also like the stitched leatherette material on the sides of the center console which gives it a more premium look.
