Model 3 Tax Credit (2019 Delivery)

Quick question: I am leasing a model 3 and took delivery in December of 2019, do I qualify for the tax credit? I have seen people post that it is calculated into the residual value, but during delivery the employee mentioned that I should be able to take advantage of the tax credit.

If you are talking about the Fed tax credit, no.

I believe Cali allows it if your lease is longer than a certain length.

If you are leasing, legally you can't claim the tax credit because you didn't purchase the vehicle

Tax credit should have been applied to the lease and lowered your payments. If not, someone is keeping your money.
