Model 3P home screen when entering car

I have a MY and when I get in the car the Home Screen is different. This is Home Screen from M3P. Is that normal for M3

Depends on what software version you are on, but there is nothing wrong with the car if you have that screen, if thats the question.

I have a model Y and the Home Screen is not the same. I check with my friends with model Y. They are similar. But this M3P is new to me. Just wondering if that’s the standard for M3 or M3P

What he said. OP, my ‘23 has the same screen on entry while my ‘20 has the traditional layout.

Cause it probably takes more processing power to deal with the new layout. Not uncommon for more advanced hardware to show more advanced features. Speaking about technology in general, not Tesla specific.

You would need Tesla to tell you the specific "why", it is, but we know thats what it is. As for your model Y, either it has not gotten that update yet or it doesnt have a ryzen processor. Ryzen processor for model Y rolled out near the beginning of 2022 sometime. My wifes 2022 Model Y has one and we got that car in March of 2022.

One car has upgraded, that other car hasn’t. I really like the new screen, turn the wheel and the tires change on the screen.

I did loose the regen/discharge bar when driving. How do I get that back?

anyone have a problem with an android phone not wanting to link for playing music after this update? everything else seems to be a nice improvement
