Model S delivery time

My Model X took about 5 weeks, plus 3-5 days preparation time once the car made it to Australia. Those 5 weeks go by very slowly.

Once you car is actually on the ship your order page will be updated with your expected collection date. I was very happy to receive my Model X four days earlier than expected!

Thanks - all really useful. Now for the longest 5-6 weeks of my life...
The wait sucks, To pass the time though you can:
Order brighter lights from Abstract Ocean
Order Screen Covers from various websites
Order a Dash Cam
Research in to logging solutions such as TeslaSpy or TeslaFi (I use Teslafi and its neat!)
Get an account with ChargePoint and/or your local charging group in your state
Order a J1772 to Type 2 cable for above charging soloutions
Get a sparky in and install your wall charger
Read the manual front to back, then in reverse
Look in to Ceramic Coat / PPF / Wrapping / Opticoat for your paint work
Order a light for your very large center console (i got this one as its automatic)
Insurance quotes
Read the TMC forums every spare moment you have and worry about everything until you get it then when you do get it; it doesn't matter if the stitching is 0.12mm out of aliment on the rear boot cover...

Plenty of things to keep your mind while you wait...

Hahahaha...quite a list. I'd better go through it really slow so I string out the waiting time...
Is amazing that any other car you buy you never go over in detail, but because it is a Tesla there must be problems (or so we keep getting told by the naysayers and shorts). Annoys the crap out of me.
