Model X front window tint

Aloha,
Anybody hot their front windshield tinted? If so, where would you recommend? One place in kakaako said he couldn't do it because it would be uneven.

Also, may not pass safety check. Definitely won't at the service center.

Got mine tinted with 3M Crystalline 90% @ Prestige Glass Tinting. Cost me 600 for the windshield and front doors. We agreed to put a seam where the sun visors go across the window. The seam is noticable, but not your line of sight. I only wanted the tint for heat rejection. It was only a minor help as I still use the upper Tesla sun screen 100% of the time.

If the front windshield is tinted it should pass just like any other vehicle....I'm not talking about the whole windshield.

If the front windshield is tinted it should pass just like any other vehicle....I'm not talking about the whole windshield.

Still, if darker than the legal allowed on front windshield, it won't pass. But you can always take it to jiffy lube or fast lube since they're not as strict on tint for safety checks.
