Model X refresh front door interior latch misdesigned

I bought my third model X last month, a new 2024. Virtually everyone that gets into the car without instruction. When they are ready to leave they use the emergency latch to open the passenger front doot instead of the electrically actuated "normal" latch/open switch. Doing so can damage the window/door seals. This is an incredibly stupid mis design on Tesla's part. People should not need instruction on how to open a door!!

Erm, this is an old Model 3 complaint, although I thought Tesla long-since updated the software so the mechanical opener would still unlatch the door. In any case, I see complaints like this online, but when I ask people that have vehicles like this how often it happens in real life, the answer surprises me because it's usually "nobody has ever done that."

Yes, the warning needs to go away.

For at least a year or so, the window drops about 1/2" when the emergency/manual release is actuated on MS, and likely the MX as well. Thus, your concern, and the warning, are both unnecessary.
Then you should tell Tesla. When using the emergency release a message occurs on the drivers screen saying it can cause damage.
