Model X trunk gate shivers with a slight jerk when opening

hi,

i took delivery of my car about 10 days ago. I noticed that every time i open trunk, it sort of shivers with a jerk. Has anyone experienced this? Is this normal?

It is most likely an adjustment issue. Mine got out of adjustment somehow (after 11 months) and wouldn't close all the way. If the Service Center is close by you can take it in, other wise you should check the adjustment bumpers and see if they are extended roughly the same amount. They are the large black plastic bumpers on the bottom of the trunk lid and they adjust by twisting them.

Indeed i have an appointment early next month for other follow up on other pre-delivery issues so will let them check.
