Highland chargeport opening randomly

Hi there.

After update 2024.8.7 or 2024.8.9 (both installed at same time) i am experiencing some interesting stuff with the chargeport on my M3 Highland

It just opens.. at random times.. it almost seems like a prank.
I open the trunk, chargeport opens. I sit in the car, it opens. I close it, it opens again 5 sec later. When i put it in drive it closes so its not that big of an issue, just annoying. Anyone else has this issue?

I wouldn't like that at all.
Reboot your car first. If it continues take the car in to Tesla.

Take it to Tesla to check it out... Keep an eye on it, if it ever does NOT open when commanded, take it to Tesla to get checked out. It could be a faulty charge port door. The real problematic door failure is when it opens but doesn't know it is open and therefore doesn't disengage the charging latch pin when then prevents you from inserting the charging handle.

The problem seems to have dissapeared after posting, maybe the car got scared!
I dont know, guess there might have been something on the sensor triggering it? Definitely keeping an eye on it and booking a service appointment if it comes back.
