Model Y en route

Our reserved Model Y is en route to our local showroom. It's the LR AWD, but no performance package or FSD. I hope you won't mind a few questions:

1. Build date is September 6th. Is that indicative of anything good, bad, or ugly?
2. Does anyone have a favorite delivery checklist? We want to go over it with a fine-toothed comb.
3. On that note, will body panel issues be obvious to a layperson?
4. Should we ask to drive it around the block before accepting delivery? Are there some likely issues that will only show up with a test drive? Is that doable?
5. I've read a lot about the A/C smell. Is it a given that it's likely to have it? We're in the southeast, so the A/C will be running virtually year-round.
6. Is there anything else I should be concerned about or think about before taking delivery?
7. Is there anything we need to do now to make the process go more smoothly? Obviously we'll make sure we have our bank docs and insurance sorted out.

My MY's build date is also Sept 6th (45,2xx) and I have a 9/26 delivery appointment here in Orlando.

You’d have to call and ask your SA. If you don’t have one, reach out to Tesla via online chat.
My SA was able to tell me my build date as well as the exact time it was built.
