Model Y fridge setup/sub-trunk access

I have a compressor style fridge that I have sitting in the trunk. I find that it sits best longitudinally as I can fit the most amount of luggage around it this way. However, it makes access to the sub-trunk quite difficult as it sits partially on top of the sub trunk cover/false floor. Does anyone have any workarounds or ideas?

I was specifically thinking that a split sub-trunk lid would solve the problem, but I haven't seen anything like this in the market and I would have no idea how to make one.

But does it have a battery to run it when the car stops giving power to the ciggie port?
Good question as the power stays on when the car is locked or charging but goes off when the car has a sleep. The other issue is the model Ys 15.6v Lithium battery is not compatible with some devices. To avoid the hurdles I carry a portable 12v pack.
