Model Y Induction Wheels on a Model 3?

Hello All,

I have been searching around quite a bit for an answer to this question, but have not found anything that would let me know if I could put Model Y 20" Induction Wheels on a RWD Model 3. My wife will be getting a Y and likes the 19" wheels on the Model 3 and I like the black induction wheels on the Y. Can we swap? Thanks!

Technically, the Model 3 and Y wheels share the same bolt pattern and center bore. Getting it on is probably not a problem, but you then have to address the difference in overall diameter.

UPP did an experiment for fun with the 21" Uberturbines: Unplugged Performance on Instagram: “We always experiment and push the limits. So we had to do it...Überturbine 3.”

They must have some decent size spacers on those uberturbines! Looks good!

Well, as I said, I only have the 19" wheels, and since the performance 3 has 20" wheels, I thought they might be a clean swap. Plus, the Black wheels will look awesome on my blue 3. My wife will be getting the white Y, and she thinks the 19" wheels would look good on that. Plus, she has a bit of a lead foot, so I thought the smaller wheel might give her a little better mileage.
