Model Y pricing lower on Tesla comparison page?

I was looking at Tesla's comparison page (Compare | Tesla) and noticed that the model Y pricing is lower there than it is on the order pages, regardless of purchase price/include potential savings, Model Y standard is listed at $40,490, long range at $48,490, and Performance at $58,490. Is this a screwup, did I miss something, or a sign of things to come? All the cars are cheaper, regardless of S/X/Y/etc on the compare page.

I could be wrong, but maybe Tesla is taking the $1500 California credit into account?

Yes I think you’re right. Regardless where you’re visiting the site from, the comparison page shows the price discounted with 1500.

That makes sense, they should asterisk that to eliminate confusion.

Tesla's own "home page" lists 2 different prices. Note the opening line of the press release.

The lower price for the shorter range version, less battery capacity and less performance. Good to know they have released this as there are people looking for this option.
