Model Y Rear Door Opening Width

Is anyone else having a hard time with the rear doors on the Model Y and how far open it wants to be? The first detent is too narrow and the 2nd detent is fully opened. Anything in between the door wants to close on me. My Model 3 has an additional detent which is wide enough to load an infant car seat without hitting the car next to you. I wonder if the rear door check can be swapped over.

interesting question. I would have thought (given the 70% commonality) that the chances were pretty high

Interesting, didn't know the Model 3 is different. My son (8 years) is often struggling with the rear door because the detents are quite strong. Will have to check this out on a model 3.

I agree with you.

I just open it all the way and let it touch the car next to me.
