Model Y windshield replacement

After waiting 2 weeks for a service appt to replace my windshield, my local Tesla SC just cancelled my appt ("To reduce appointment backlog in our region...") and told me to go to Safelite (who is quoting $1,000 more than Tesla's quote). Is it possible to just schedule an appt with another / different Tesla SC or will they all give me the same runaround?

My windshield cracked yesterday, and I made an appt for next week at my local SC (Glen Allen/Richmond , VA).
I was told they have a 'glass crew' in on Thursdays, so I have an appt next Thursday. As of now, they don't foresee any issues with inventory or labor to take care of it, so it might just be your local SC.

Appreciate the response! I ended up scheduling through another SC and they took the appt. Also explained how the previous SC cancelled on me and they stated that they'll be able to perform the service. Fingers-crossed that they can.
