MR Waiting Room

I ordered my MR on 3/16 and it was supposed to be delivered on 3/22. That got delayed until 3/28 and now has been delayed again to 3/30 and I fairly sure that will not actually happen as my Delivery Specialist has informed me that my car is still in California and I live in Indiana... I don't know why they even bother to provide delivery dates if they are not based on realistic logistics.

It's definitely looking like I will not be getting my MR by the end of the quarter. Still very excited about the car but the Tesla ordering/delivery experience has been seriously disappointing so far.

Good to know that I am not the only one waiting for MR to be delivered. Were you ever asked to upgrade / downgrade to SR+ or LR?

No, they never brought up an upgrade/downgrade but I ordered a fairly standard black/black with AP. I just received an update that from my DS that they finally found a driver to get my car transported to Indiana. Currently scheduled for a 4/6 delivery. Hoping the date sticks this time!

So after a long conversation, the only thing they can discount is paint and wheels. Asked about getting a wall connector or increasing my trade-in or anything else really. Said the only thing they are allowed to comp is paint and wheels. Can’t touch battery, AP/FSD, or white interior.

So that is good news for the people who want a color other than black and/or wanted the 19” rims.

PLease who did you speak with, Im still waiting on my mid range and they just want me to spend sticker price now.

We were looking at the MR the day before it was removed as an online option which was March 18, a day before the prices on some models also went back up 3%. A rep at the store in Pasadena found a MR configured the way we wanted (RWD, black, aero, AP) and we took delivery on 3/23. We were told AP included automatic lane changes but that feature isn't working and I'm not certain we weren't misinformed on that point. There was also a nick in the steering wheel cap, which we'll have to get replaced. Great car all around, though.
